Description

Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (mid-March through October) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Working with Bender is as easy as pie. The folks are awesome. Sandpiper is a wonderful place to get a large group of folks together. The rooms are open to the outside and in close proximity. The pool is large enough to accommodate everyone and the beach is a few easy steps away.

Enjoyed every part of the stay. Beach access was great, condo was clean and nice. We have stayed here at Sandpiper for many years and have enjoyed it. I have stayed in 15C for the past two years on Labor Day weekend. Would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Stayed at Sandpiper many times years ago when children were young. Sandpiper is in great condition, and looks the same as it did years ago.
There were a few things in the unit that were needed. Only one hair dryer in the unit. The towels were old and worn. No shampoo, conditioner or body wash provided. (For what we paid, these things should have been included.)

My family has stayed at Sandpiper for many years, and we always appreciate how well the property is maintained. Bender staff is attentive and available to help with any questions (this year I needed a recommendation for a car issue). This condo was among the most enjoyable we've stayed at in the past few years. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and of course the view was gorgeous. Can't wait to get back next fall!

Brought my 9 year old nephew to Gulf Shores for the first time and Sandpiper was the PERFECT choice! So family oriented, beautiful beach, the Bender Rental staff was so helpful. We both agreed we hope to return next year and bring more family members with us! A small piece of advice: Bring your own hair dryer if needed. Some of the properties include it and others don't. I bought one and left it at the property for future renters, so it may still be there!

Great views Had some problems with the elevator which hurt in getting to the condo Furniture needs upgrading and also the dishwasher. Been coming to the Sandpiper for years we come to meet up with family and friends. We love the place

Complex is small and laid out great for a group or for a one family unit rental. We loved the balcony area around the complex to gather on for meals, watch it rain or just enjoy the evening with others listening to music.
The pool area is nice as well. Very easy walk to the beach !The covered parking is great!
We hope to return to this complex very soon!!

Our vacation week was great. The Sandpiper is the only place we stay. We love it there!! There were only a few things we'd like to see changed. We wish there was a boardwalk from the property out to the beach. Also our room was on the third floor & at the end there were lounge chairs that were hindering the walkway, it seemed like a fire hazard. If you're going to have seating, they need to be tall chairs not lounge chairs. One last thing, the owners need a broom in the room since the floors are all tile. We only had a vacuum but it didn't get up the sand so we had to borrow a broom from the neighbors.

We love Sandpiper and have not experienced any issues in 14C. There was a water leak in 15C but they were kind enough to let us unpack while they finished up the leak. 14C and 15C are the nicest condos we have stayed in at sandpiper.

My sister and I had a short sister trip away from home and even though it rained and stormed we had a really nice and clean place to stay. The unit had everything thing we needed for a night to a month, clean clean clean , what more can you ask for? Plenty of linens all the basics! lovated right on the beach with a pool as well. Right in the main strip. And about 15 miles from outlet mall (what can you do when it’s raining.... shop). Lol. Very pleased. And will go there again for sure

Sandpiper 15C had been updated throughout, was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well-stocked with all conveniences of home. Although pillows and mattresses were old and not very comfortable, would still stay in this unit again and recommend to others. Bender Realty staff were professional, helpful and a pleasure to work with.

The location was great and the other people in nearby condos were very friendly. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The view was great. Close to many good bike paths and the amenities of Gulf State Park as well as the Gulf nearby.

Family friendly and just far enough off 59 to be away from the noise and tourists; yet close enough to not feel out of the loop.
Always clean facilities with a sunrise/sunset view and volleyball on the beach.
Nothing beats the Sandpiper and 15C is top level away from too much foot traffic and no one above you making any noise. Love this place!!

This was our 5th year visiting the Sand Piper and 2nd consecutive year at unit 15C. Unit 15C has become a favorite of ours combining the wonderful view with an up-to-date unit. We also like the fact that it's tile floors throughout.

During our stay, the AC unit starting blowing warm air and the maintainence crew responded quickly. Within an hour they had responded and fixed the issue.

The grounds area for the Sand Piper have always been very clean and well maintianed.

We've always enjoyed visiting the Sand Piper and we look forward to visiting again!

With the wrap around deck, you become friends with all of the other guests. Met almost all people and had great interaction with them.

Sandpiper is certainly a great property. Its pool is advertised as "seasonally heated," which does not mean year round. We regret if there was any miscommunication. For future visits, ask us about our many condos with heated indoor pools.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at the Sandpiper 15C. The pictures were right-on and we had great weather. We were celebrating our 10 yr. anniversary and found it to be very relaxing. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family and hope to return next year.

I was particularly impressed with the rapid check-in process at Bender. I loved the architecture and layout of the property, with every unit facing the pool and beach and offering a communal atmosphere.

The property and the location are wonderful love it. The condo could have a little more character it's kind of bland. The bedding really needs updating pillows the mattress in the master bedroom was in aweful condition disappointing. The kitchen on the other was super had everything we needed, we would love to stay in 15c next year. Thank you

This was the 6th or 7th time since 2008 that we have stayed in Sandpiper 15C. It has become our home away from home! We love the Sandpiper; it was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental. Everyone at Bender Realty is wonderful and very responsive. We had one minor issue during this last visit and they had someone at the condo within 5 minutes. We highly recommend the Sandpiper and Bender Realty.

We already did this review in Gulf Shores before we left.

This is our 3rd year at the Sandpiper and we certainly enjoyed the location in Gulf Shores. This is the 3rd unit we have stayed in and the best for a number of considerations. We have developed a friendship with a number of other long-term residents and enjoy the daily happy hour with these people. We hope to continue to spend our wintertime here at the Sandpiper.

We recently stayed in the Sandpiper for 5 nights for a short fall vacation. The property was very well kept and the unit was well furnished and in excellent repair. The only problem we had was one rainy day -- something to be expected occaisionally during the fall in Gulf Shores. My wife used the time to shop. So, she didn't mind the rain as much as I did.

We loved it here. We vacationed with our three kids (six and under) and it was the perfect place. Great beach and pool access, other guests were quiet and enjoyable to be around, condo was in great condition. Would definitely recommend!

Not used to having the unit be completely tiled. Had to remember to brush feet off before getting into bed, and swept sand up in the unit a few times. The unit had everything else we needed.

Our family loved our stay at Sandpiper 15C! The layout of the condo community offers the guests the opportunity to bond w/the "neighbors" with the common areas being located between the buildings. Also, I like how each condo's balcony is offset, giving the family a private area to relax. The only "thing" missing from the commnunity is a hot tub.
The decor of our condo was bright and cheerful and I LOVE the tile floors! The layout of the condo is like the community, offering privacy for each bedroom w/spacious yet intimate gathering areas. I look forward to spending our family vacation here again in 2013! Sincerely, Mary Ann Seger

Loved how organized and complete everything was in 15C. Best blender ever. Liked the little touches, like the tiny bottle of dish detergent. We love Sandpiper and have been having yearly reunions there for 15 years.

There was a family group of 35 or so staying in the complex. They drank alot and had parties all through the night. They pretty well monopolized the pool and grilling areas. They also played music from their balcony to the pool area all night long. We never did complain to Bender about this so I do not feel it is Bender's fault. Our condo was great and the folks at Bender were wonderful!!

Floors and mirrors needed to be cleaned. Unit was well equipped. Would have been nice to have a coffee table and a comfortable chair in one of the bedrooms.

We would stay there again. 15C was very nice. The only thing I would complain about was that the floors were dirty and your feet were always dirty if you walked around barefoot in the rooms.

Was not happy about the requirement to signing credit card receipt after I had paid by check, then had aproblem getting it back when chevking out. was told they had sent to home offic when in fact it was still in the local office of Bender realty'

we stayed at lagoon run every summer for years until we got smart and wanted to stay on the beach since we have young childen and one minute they at the pool and the next they want to be on the beach so it makes it so much more easier not to worry about crossing the highway. but we love the set up at lagoon run as we call it a horse shape, that way we could see the pool at all times. what a great day when we found y'all it is the same way but we have a beautiful view and the price was right. we can't wait to stay this summer coming and years after.

My family visit Sandpiper every year and enjoy the friendly guest that also stay there. we already have reservations for our vacation there in July. wouldn't want to stay any place else. My grand kids enjoy the pool. We just like every thing about it. The beach, pool, and condo.
