Description

Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, swimming pool and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

This beautifully appointed condo is situated towards the street side of the property. While the property sits directly on the beach, and you can walk straight onto the sand from the parking lot, there is no view of the Gulf from this condo's front door until you turn the corner, from which you'll have a slight view. A simple walk down the communal balcony will take you to terrific views of the landscaped pool area and the fabulous Gulf waters!

Working with Bender is as easy as pie. The folks are awesome. Sandpiper is a wonderful place to get a large group of folks together. The rooms are open to the outside and in close proximity. The pool is large enough to accommodate everyone and the beach is a few easy steps away.

Close to the Ocean and the Pool is always clean. We go down with a lot of friends every year and have a Great Time being so close to each other so we can eat together and play games at night.
I gave the general condition a 4 because the toilet runs in the 2nd bedroom bathroom, which can be easily fix and the 2nd bedroom needs a curtain over the door to the balcony.

The unit we stayed in was very clean. Binder went out of there way to make ate stay pleasant. Every year a group of us go down every September. The view was great.

Beautiful condo! Always extremely clean. Love the updated kitchen and all of the beautiful furniture and decorations. Our family always feels right at home in 10b. The owner of the condo is very accommodating and has done an amazing job with everything. Extremely comfortable beds and a nice king bed in the master. Coffee maker in the condo as well and you can sit on the balcony and drink it in the mornings. Kitchen was also very well equipped with everything you would need. We cant recommend this condo enough.

Great condo! All the accessories that you need are in 10B. They need a better process between the cleaning crews and Bender realty. Condos that were not occupied were cleaned before condos that guests were waiting to get in. They also need a walkway to the beach.

It was the nicest place I have ever stayed. Very clean with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable also. And it was steps to the ocean. Bender Realty was the best! I do have to say this, though. Hurricane Sally hit the second day that we were there and we had no power or water and no way to leave because of the damage. But that is no ones fault. I will stay here again.

The location and condo were perfect. We had a great time. Even considering renting again for next year. The only thing that would make it better is to increase the basic items provided like more toilet paper, trash bags, kitchen soap.

Due to a conflict, my brother and SIL were unable to spend the week with us at the beach. Instead, my youngest son, his wife and two children joined us. It worked out great. Everyone had a wonderful time. My husband and daughter-in-law had to work a couple of days and was able to use the wi-fi to get that done. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom with the king size bed with its own bath. My son, DIL and granddaughter stayed in the bedroom with two double beds and our grandson slept on the sofa. It’s not necessary because it is already big enough, but if you take the back cushions off the sofa it is REALLY big. He slept great on it. The kitchen is well stocked with items you would normally need to prepare meals. I actually took my electric griddle because the kids love pancakes and I can make a bunch at one time. Used it for grilled cheese and frying bacon & sausage, too. It has a regular coffee maker and a small Keurig. We kept the washer and dryer busy in the evening. They both worked great. The condo was clean and had everything we needed to begin our week. There are plenty of carts available to take your personal belongings to your condo. Only having three floors, the wait for an elevator is not long at all. We saw three stations to hose the sand off your feet and toys and the one by the pool had a shower as well. Access to the beach is literally steps away. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. We took our own tent and chairs. If you set up a tent, you have to set it up behind the rentals which was fine. There are a couple of small stores within walking distance if there is anything you need in a hurry. The kids walked down to the ice cream shop and I bought some of the best smoked tuna dip ever at a place right down the road -S & S Seafood. We enjoyed the smaller, less crowded place. Many people we met have been long-time guests there for years and we met some of the owners, too. We had a terrific time and I would recommend it.

The unit was clean and in great shape. We’re a guy’s golf trip (50’s and 60’s) so we don’t have a lot of kitchen/appliance needs; however, we did have everything we need. The satellite TV worked and had a great sports package. The restrooms/showers were clean and in great working order. We will be back.

Our family loved our first stay in Gulf Shores! Booked at the last minute in order to join friends staying at the Sandpiper. We're a little skeptical about 10b due to a few unfavorable reviews, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. It was a bit outdated compared to other units, but clean and cozy. The location by the elevator/stairs was very convenient. It became the gathering place for friends staying in other units. Staff was very sweet and welcoming.

property is in an excellent location, right on the beach. The unit is outdated, needs new furnature, bedspreads and a new stove. Takes forever for the burners to heat up, but the oven is way too hot (burnt supper on 200) but if you look past the unit the location is great. Would stay at Sandpiper again, but at a different unit

MY friends and I stayed here for Hangout Fest in late May, and we were pleasantly surprised at how perfect the condo was. It was a 20 minute walk to the festival, but convenience stores and such were located close-by.

I made a last minute decision to discover the Gulf Shores-- was actually referred to Bender Managed Properties through a contact..was the BEST decision. The condo was BEAUTIFUL...the staff WONDERFUL. My only suggestion would be to rethink the cleaning company. The condo was great, but needed a little TLC in the cleaning department. Didn't take me long to make it MUCH better--really just in the kitchen, but overall--MOST WONDERFUL place. We were blessed with better weather than expected. I have already referred several of my coworkers...and today was my first day back to work! Thank you all.. my family had a memorable summer.

My husband and I really liked the location and the size of the property. We prefer to stay in smaller condos. Being able to run up and down the stairs is a huge plus for us. I would not recommend the specific codo we stayed in because of the old dirty furniture. The dirt on the bottom of the headboard in the master bedroom was discusting. There were hardly any pots and pans to cook with and I have pots and pans at home that are over 30 years old that look way better than the ones provided. We talked to other vacationers who were also staying at the Sandpiper and they were very happy with their accomodations. They said their places were very clean and updated. They also were very pleased with the amount of cooking utensils supplied. I think we may have just got the lemon in the place. We have used Bender before and are very please with the company and their professionals. Everyone was very pleasant. I just would not recommend or want to stay in this particular condo again.

Almost Bad Trip Saved by Bender Realty, Inc

We made reservations through another company because we were only able to take 3 nights for the trip. After receiving a text message that the unit would be ready at 3:00 PM we traveled to Fort Morgan. We arrived at about 3:30 only to find a pig pen. When we contacted the agency we were told that the person was on the way to clean the unit and that the cleaning would only take a short time. The condition we found the unit in would take at least 2 hours. The offer to buy us dinner was not acceptable because of the location, We were going to drive back to Louisiana. My son contacted Bender Realty to see if by chance they had a unit and if we could get a unit for only 3 nights. They were able to help us and our vacation was terrific. Sandpiper had been our choice for several previous trips to Gulfshores but because we could not stay for a week we had chosen another agency. From now on for short tips we will phone Bender to see if they can accommodate us. Thank you Bender staff for the friendly, caring service and a very clean unit.

Love this location. The property is very close to the water. Other properties are too far away from water and too much walking back and forth Also love the covered parking. Elevators are nice at this property. All of rooms are individually owed. Our particular room was not very clean. Lots of dust on bathroom shelves/cabinetry and in bedrooms behind chairs and nightstands. But would stay again because you can't beat this locations proximity To the actual water.

Our stay at Sandpiper was wonderful. We went last year and had such a good experience that we wanted to stay there again. We stayed at a different unit this year but was just as satisfied. I have already recommended Sandpiper to friends and hope that we can return next year! Loved it!!!

We had a great time. Staying during the 4th of July week, everything was busy and people everywhere. This condo is in a good location and the all around deck is very nice. The fireworks on the beach were beautiful, a little bonus for being there on the 4th.

Nice Property...the location and unit was good. The unit lacked cleanliness nothing to be a deal breaker. Overall good stay.

We liked the condo. Somewhat disappointed in how clean it was. We found dirty dishes in the cupboards. I know that is not Benders responsibility. Otherwise everything was good.

Terrific vacation! I recommended the Sandpiper to friends before vacation was even over. I loved the size and the family focus of the condo unit! Our kids have a large range in ages, and they ALL had a great time.
