I discovered this gem years ago because it was pet friendly and even though I no longer have pets, I still return here. Great location, great value, and just a perfect spot to rest and relax. Bender Rental Company is one of the best. The staff is incredibly nice, and I would receive a daily text just to make sure my expectations were being met, and ensuring everything was just as I expected. I have stayed in several units over the years at the Caribbean, and they are all great.

We love the Caribbean condos. Only 32 condos in the building. So much better than those mega complexes. It's dog-friendly for our 9 lb Yorkie. The only downfall for us with this condo was there was no table on the balcony where we spend a lot of time eating dinners and playing games. We survived but the next condo we pick will have a table and chairs outside. We stayed 12 days and every day was the most perfect weather. oh, the TV's in the bedrooms are about the size of a laptop screen and the remotes didn't work. I changed the batteries but still didn't work. We didn't tell the agency about this because it wasn't a big deal to us, but if you like to watch TV in bed, bring your laptop ;-).

First off I almost didn't rent this condo because of the reviews. But I wanted to bring my dog so I decided to go ahead and book it. SO GLAD I did. The pictures did not do the place justice. The furniture in the pictures is not the same as in the condo. It has been updated, The beds were so comfortable. (Even in the guest room) The living room furniture was comfortable, the view was AMAZING. We would definitley stay in this unit again.

We were very excited to find the pet friendly rental, I was a little skeptical (but that’s just me, I don’t like the unknown) because I wasn’t familiar with this rental company and had never stayed on this side of Gulf Shores. When I spoke with these wonderful helpful ladies over the phone to complete the registration that were very sweet and quick to send me all of the rental details. Arriving in Gulf Shores, I was a little worried at the small stature of the building. We went inside the building before unloading the car, and went up to the unit. All of my doubts vanished, it was a lovely little unit (there were only 3 of us and a pup) and it was just perfect. We went to the balcony and I was in heaven!! The unit not only had a wonderful view, it also only had a short walk to the beach! That’s very important to me because once I pack up-I’m there! I don’t leave the beach except to check on the pup and to go to the bathroom...lol! We hit a cart (which was also a painless process and headed back up. Then after unloading and returning the cart - we hit the beach! A boy was it perfect!! The beach was clean and very close to the boardwalk. When we came back up and went to cook dinner my heart sank. I had brought a week’s worth of groceries because I am in a budget - always, but was devastated that the cooktop just would not get hot enough to cook our food. I had to switch pans over and over between the elements on the stove. Out of frustration we just modified the meal. The next morning I called the office and they told me they would send someone out. I expected to be waiting all day for nothing. But that is not what happened, a few minutes later a wonderful gentleman showed up and looked at the stove, told me the problem, told me to call with any more issues and left. The condo was adequately provisioned and had a great view of the Gulf. There was only one issue experienced at the property, and it was resolved in a timely fashion. The Bender Realty folks are the best in the business to work with.

First let me say the staff at Bender is excellent!! Very friendly and responsive. Let’s start with the good stuff. The balcony and view is what you are paying for here. It’s exceptional! Having 2 full baths and a washer and dryer was very nice as well. Now the not so good stuff, this condo is in need of major updates and repairs. The laundry door and a couple of cabinets were broken. Furniture was very worn and stained. All of the TVs were very small and would not show the full picture on the screens. The refrigerator was leaking but was told that was being replaced when we checked out. The linens on the pull out couch were dirty upon arrival and the replacements there did not fit. We also didn’t have any pillows for the master bed or pull out. One call to Bender took care of that. I felt Bender went above and beyond to help correct things that were in their control. The owner really needs to consider updating the unit to better serve the people who choose to spend their money renting from them.

A few suggestions: Unit does need to be updated. Bender Realty should consider not having the customer/renter to stop by there office to pick up parking pass & key to pool. They should have that already in the unit to make it a much easier experience. Bender Realty should consider texting the keyless code to phone instead of having to receive call & write down. Bender Realty should consider sending a text on check out day to respond back when you have checked out if before 10:00am. I received a voicemail message the day before asking if I new when I might check out because they were working up there cleaning crew schedule. I thought that was very inappropriate. I checked out on a Sunday & left a message when leaving on the number that was provided in the packet to let them know we checked out @ 8:00am. I later received a voicemail after 10:00am asking if I had checked out and wanted to know if I had dropped off the key at the office or left in condo. I was traveling & did not get the call. The workers with Bender were very kind & courteous but I think they need to look at upgrading there ways of operation to make it a very easy & pleasant experience.

The Caribbean would have been a nice place to stay except for a few glitches. We literally had to park in the parking lot at the condo next door to us because there were no spots available for us to park in. When the covers were pulled back to go to bed, there was a used kleenex under the covers. Therefore, we didn't feel like it was a clean enough bed to sleep in. And the doors to the laundry area in the kitchen were broke so therefore, the door wouldn't shut and when you tried to open it - it wouldn't slide. We paid well to stay for two nights and we didn't feel like we even got our money's worth.

We did enjoy being on the beach! The location was a good choice! All the people we dealt with were very nice and helpful! There was no problems with customer service. There were no one available to talk to when we left as we left on a Sunday morning. This was the first time that we ever stayed in Gulf Shores.

Listed below are the things that were wrong with the condo:

-front door security lock broken
-both commodes had yellow stains on the rim
-whirlpool tub dirty
-only 2 bath towels for entire condo
-pictures stacked on furniture and not rehung after apparent/assumed painting of walls
-no safety strips or shower mat in very slippery master bathroom shower (we purchased a shower mat)
-inadequate hot water supply to use whirlpool tub
-no broom
-no bag in vacuum
-ice maker didnt work
-door to balcony very difficult to open
-no channel guide for tv system
-batteries were dead in living room tv remote (we purchased batteries)

This condo was great! We had plenty of space for 4 adults (and we could have easily fit two more), lots of cookware to prepare all of our breakfasts and lunches, and a BEAUTIFUL view of the beach! And the tub in the master bathroom is HUGE.
Not to mention, the ladies at Bender Realty were the nicest I have ever dealt with. We arrived in Gulf Shores at 8 am and we had a friend that wasn't feeling well- so we stopped by the office and they got us into our room by noon! (Which was three hours before check-in). Even though it was a rush order, the condo was perfectly clean and comfortable. They even remembered and asked about how he was feeling when I checked out.

The BIGGEST and only problem we had while staying here was... no salt and pepper. And that cost us $2 at the nearest dollar store.

Had a wonderful time. 2nd time staying in 301. Had plenty of room. Some things are in need of updating...especially the upholstered furniture. Bedspreads starting to look worn. Need a cookie sheet. Dining table is great. Enjoyed being there. The weather all week was perfect. Both pools were great. Loved the fresh shrimp.

The Caribbean was a fantastic condo complex. We loved the fact that it was only a 32 unit building. The unit 301 was very cute and well maintained. Wonderful beach front. Maintenance issues with elevator that was not good for handicapped mother. Beds were not stable or correct size as noted on web site. It was clean but needed more amenities like a hotel. i.e. Hair dryer. Will stay again because that is where my family stays every year from out of town.

Great location. Close to everything. Furniture showing wear. Kids could not sleep on the sofa sleeper. It was too uncomfortable. The beds were fine. Overall the unit was clean and comfortable. The balcony is a big plus. Good size. Smokers above though ruined good 6am morning coffee time watching sun rise.

My friends and I stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute of it! Very impressed and pleased with the size and cleanliness of the condo. Great view and the location of the condo was perfect. The only negative was that our personal Beach Chairs were stolen off the beach (no fault of Bender's). The Caribbean and Bender's Realty will definitely be our number one place to stay from now on for our visits to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Caribbean is an excellent location with a nice beach area and a good sized pool. Our condo (301) was in good condition, all the amenities we would want in terms of dishware, appliances, etc. Large jetted tub in the bathroom was very nice. Floors could have been cleaner. It was nice having televisions in all 3 rooms (2 bedrooms and living area) with a DVD player in each location. Decent balcony view. Stereo in living room was a nice option also. No hangers in the closets for some reason. It would have been nice to know about the beach chair rental options before we got there. Overall a very pleasant experience. We would definitely return.

I have been booking condos with Bender Realty since 2005 and overall, the professional courtesy and desire to please have been excellent. I find their prices to be more than competitive with all the competition in this area. This company may be somewhat smaller than some of the bigger groups here, but I think that this is a plus for them. They seem to commit to try harder and prove themselves worthy to go up against any of the "big boys." I will continue to book with them in the future.

We used Bender last year for our family trip to Gulf Shores, and the experience was so good, we decided to use them again this year. Staff were so very friendly, professional, and helpful. The condo was great--we made smoothies and cooked bbq in the crock pot & it was just perfect! Will definitely use this condo & Bender again!

We liked the location and the condo 301. The only thing we did not like was the living room furniture. The chair was dirty and the couch old and uncomfortable. Other than this furniture the condo was very nice.

Bender has always helped make our stays in Gulf Shores great!! The original condo we picked didn't have WI-FI, so Bender found us another one that did and made our transition smooth!

The location was perfect. The living room furniture was very "used" needs to be replaced. Sheets were missing on one bunk. The pool wasn't cleaned the whole week we were there. Just little things that could easily be fixed. We felt very safe there even
though there isn't on-site security. Probably would return.

The location of the condo is great. There were several items of furniture that was damaged when we arrived. The dishwasher smelled and the microwave quit. Otherwise, the condo was fine.

We enjoyed our stay but were looking forward to grilling and the condo had only park/like charcoal grills and no tables or eating area outside. Gas grills would have been great. Also, somewhat limited parking. At times, no space was available.

Our 1st time to the Gulf as well as working with Bender Reality and staying at Caribbean 301. Excellent location, relative to the beach and general amenities of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, etc. Having a brood of small children, we really enjoyed the short walk to the beach as well as the spacious pool(s). Very positive. The condo amenities were fair. Nothing to outlandish but we were not paying for the condo stay. Would like to have seen abit more kitchen items such as mixing bowls etc. since we ate most of our meals inside so end up washing alot of dishes needed for the next meal. Overall, we would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family.

Great unit, very clean. Adequate kitchen supplies for our basic cooking needs there. Lots of closet/drawer space. Unlike other units I have stayed in there are not a bunch of decorative things sitting all over the place getting in the way/asking to get broken by kids. Will always stay in this building, if not this unit. And yeah for free internet access!

This condo is very nice...clean, great pool, great location, indoor pool, workout room with sauna and steam room. The one we stayed in is very nicely decorated and works out perfect for our family...we'll be back! The mattress in the master bedroom is not too comfortable...up on stilts and the mattress needs to be turned or replaced.

This condo is very nice...clean, great pool, great location, indoor pool, workout room with sauna and steam room. Additional towels would have been good. With 2 adults and 2 kids a round of showers used up just about all towels. A box of laundry detergent, couple spare rolls of toilet paper, roll of paper towels could have made it a little bit friendlier for out of towners. Still had a wonderful time and are planning our next trip already trying to bring a big group and maybe rent a whole floor or several condo's in the same building.

As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of your units at Gulf Shores despite the Oil Spill,it did not stop our walks along the beach and the grandchildren had both the outdoor and indoor pool to swim in, the unit was nice and beautifully decorated. Bender has always been very helpful and customer friendly. I love the fact that it is a small office and I talk to the same people. Caribbean 301 was probably the most nicely maintained and decorated condo we have stayed in. Security there was excellent. I would highly recommend both Bender and Caribbean 301 and will happily use them again.

Very nice smaller property but nice size condo.Very convenient to all of gulfshores.The unit being only on the 3rd floor was also very convenient,you can use the stairs if you wish and you are very close to the gulf. also plenty of parking.The 1 and only 1 negative would be the size of the water heater which we knew going in from previous reviews.That only came in to play when my wife wanted to use the beautiful tub not when we took showers. with a little planning one could work around that,but like I told her we didn't come to the beach to stay in the bathroom.

After preparing over a thousand tax returns so far this year, my husband took me for a bit of R&R to Gulf Shores. I couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. The decor was inspiring and the ocean and beach were the escape we so needed. We would love to return again to the same condo.

The location was good. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and being so close to the beach and restaurants and shopping. The condo was OK, it was missing some important items like a plunger, a hair dryer, pillow cases in the sheet set left for the pull out sofa bed and a baking dish, all items we had to borrow from another condo. We'd stay at Carribbean again but not that same condo.

I only have one minor complaint...hot water heater not big enough to supply water to the fabulous jacuzzi(main reason for choosing) and the showers. When 5 adults are getting ready to go somewhere it takes a lot of hot water. The main reason I specifically choose the 301 unit was because it was one of a very few that had twin beds in the guest bedroom and with 3 (20 year old )males it made sleeping arrangements a breeze. My husband and I enjoyed the master suite more than any other we've ever stayed in. The privacy from the boys and the luxurious bath was an important part of a great experience. We will certainally be back. Thanks for everything.

This visit was our first visit to Gulf Shores. We found everything to be as promised. The property was perfect for our needs and we had a wonderful relaxing vacation. We even met others within the neighboring properties visiting from Louisville that live within five miles of our home.We highly recommend the property and hope to visit again.
